IF SO, HOW? What Scientists Read is a project designed to look at the influence of literature upon scientists and their work. Interdisciplinary ‘sci-art’ projects that interpret scientific information in an artistic way are flourishing. But this project is different. What Scientists Read is testing the assumption that the influence of science upon the arts is a one-way street.
We plan to interview about twenty scientists based in Scotland during 2012. And we also want to hear from other scientists. Contribute your thoughts about literature - tell us what you like to read and why, and whether you think there’s a link between your favourite books and the way you work.
